What I'm reading:

I've put the various (informal) Sumerian studies aside for the moment. Felt I needed more variety. :)

Annotated Lovecraft - which is annoying me, because many of the notations are simply definitions. Of words one really ought to already know, if one is reading Lovecraft. It's annoying me exceedingly, and I may well have to go get a non-annotated version.

Enduring Grace: Living Portraits of Seven Women Mystics - started reading this for the seekersmystics community. I'm having to read it slowly (not my typical habit), because it's giving me a lot of things to think about. I'm really glad to be reading this one as part of a bookclub/discussion, though none of it has percolated for long enough yet for me to be able to write much about it.

The Shangri-La Diet - Just got this one today, but so far it's fascinating. It gives me some hope for losing the roughly 70lbs I'm wanting to lose during the coming year.

And for the fiction portion of our evening; I just finished a re-read of Neuromancer, and am now beginning Pratchett's Small Gods.
