Carnal, Golden Priapus and Queen of Sheba

Carnal - Bold, bright mandarin paired with the sweet, sensual earthiness of fig - I wanted to love this one, and I really thought I would, but...on me it smells more like a strawberry Jolly Rancher than either mandarin or fig. It's fading off now into a kind of bland vanilla fugue. Swapper.

Golden Priapus - vanilla and amber with juniper, rosewood and white pine - Starts off with an enticing, warm vanilla scent, smells like sun-drenched blond surfer-boys on the beach. Nice, but neither my nor Troll's style. Morphs rapidly into, of all things, Play-Doh (which scent, it turns out, you can buy specifically!). Stays that way. On both me and the Troll.

Queen of Sheba - Her scent is a bounty of golden honeyed almonds and a whisper of African and Middle Eastern spices - Oh, YUM! I was afraid that this one was going to smell like amaretto (which I dislike both smell and taste of), and it did at first...but after seconds on my skin, the almonds have a sort of toasted smell. The honey is very faintly present, in a nice way. I can't identify the spices. Cardomom, maybe. The sad thing about this scent is that if I wear it anywhere but my wrists, it BURNS. LIKE FIRE. So I wear it on my wrists. I've also had some luck blending it with unscented massage lotion, though, and I'll probably end up ordering a bottle because I love it so much. Breaks my heart that I can't wear it straight.
