Embalming Fluid and Dragon Moon

Embalming Fluid - A light, pure scent: white musk, green tea, aloe and lemon - I really like this one. First time I tried the imp I have, I spilled it all over my bed. Now my bed smells even more delicious than ever. What I get most from this is the tea and lemon. In fact, it reminds me very much of Christiane Celle's Calypso Thé, except that the scent lingers *much* longer. Both make me think of southern sugared iced tea, cool and refreshing. No morphing to speak of. This definitely goes on my bottle list.

Dragon Moon -The Dragon Moon celebrates the glory and vigor of Springtime: dragon’s blood resin, tea leaf, bamboo reed, sandalwood and cherry blossom - Did you ever make a purchase you knew you'd regret, but done it anyway? That's the case with me and Dragon Moon. I had been hoping that the other ingredients would be able to drown out my dislike for dragon's blood resin (which I find sickly sweet and way too floral). Actually, it almost worked. When I applied it, it had a strong but bearable floral scent. I waited for awhile, and it mellowed to an even more bearable floral. Finally, it setled into what I can only describe as a floral musk - which I think must be the sandalwood working with the dragon's blood. Bearable. Vaguely pleasant. Not a heartthrob for me. And I have two full bottles to go to the sales/swap pile. ::sigh::
